Caveman to Iron Warrior
How did the Ages change Britain?
Within this topic, the children will travel back in time to find out what life was like in prehistory. We will discover how life changed in Britain through the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. For our entry point our children will look at and create their own cave art. The children will continue to develop their knowledge across a range of foundation subjects within this topic. Incredible Inventions
How have inventions changes our lives?
Within this topic, the children will explore inventions that have changed our lives. We will look at different inventions from different times and places.
For our entry point, our children will take part in a mini 'Dragons Den'. They will be given criteria to design their invention against. This topic includes lots of scientific investigations and experiments around electricity, forces and magnets. This knowledge will then be used in their D.T. project.
